We’ve excluded women-in-prison (as that is an episode unto itself) but here we talk all about Alcatraz, a couple of Stephen King adaptations, and that time that Jean-Claude Van Damme went undercover in prison to hunt down a serial killer(?!). There’s many more flicks set in ‘The Joint” that we cover and it would be ‘criminal’ if you don’t listen – I’m done with the silly jokes now.

Plenty of unknown things lurk under the water and for the latest episode of GBW we go diving into the horror genre to bring you some of our favourite (and not so favourite) water based monster movies.

Instead of focusing on sharks, octopi, and other water based animals we’ve decided to only discuss things that aren’t quite of nature. We’re talking Humanoids, mutant monsters galore, and even a creature from the black lagoon. These water dwelling beasts have had enough of humankind invading their homes and will do anything to prove it.
