We’re coming into 2025 hot hot hotter than Hell (Kiss reference!) where we catch up on some 2024 Oscar contenders, visit the 70’s and continue diving into box sets.

Amongst the 16 films covered we get one of Clint Eastwood’s most iconic roles, two teens regret entering Macon County, Robert Eggers delivers a new version of NOSFERATU, a man falls in love with a brain(?!), an actress’ fan goes a bit too far, Josh suffers through another Mill Creek atrocity, and so much more!

As 2024 comes to an end we here at GBW continue to get our fill of kung-fu, Roger Corman productions, and wacky kids movies. And we continue to share them with you.

This time our 16 films covered include a bizarre Canadian kids Christmas movie, two brothers trying to survive in East L.A., a 90’s neo noir you’ve not heard of, a sunbaked crime thriller that delivers the goods, Mickey Rooney going on an acid trip, an early De Palma thriller, Josh continuing his Jackie Chan journey, and so much more!

This episode of GBW we’re all over the place because, after the old saying goes, “variety is the spice of life”. Either that or we just like being thrown for a loop constantly.
